What should we wear?

The most important thing is to wear something that you feel good in! Every client asks me this question, so I decided to share my tips in a couple of blog posts. Here are some suggestions for what couples should wear for their photoshoot and a few ideas for families as well. These posts are filled with easy tips for how to choose your outfits so be sure to check them out! HOW DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS? WILL YOU ERASE MY PROBLEM AREAS?

Yes, your photos will be carefully and beautifully retouched and they always remain authentic reflections of you. I prefer an authentic approach to editing that enhances your beauty instead of over-processing it. As a photographer, I cringe whenever I see pictures of people with vampire-like eyes and overly plastic airbrushed skin. If there are any areas that you're self-conscious about, please let me know before our session. Instead of relying heavily on post-processing, I prefer to focus on finding the most flattering light, angles, and poses while we're taking our photos so that the images turn out as best as possible straight out of the camera. 

WHERE will WE TAKE OUR PHOTOS? SHOULD WE BRING ANYTHING TO OUR SESSION?

Sessions usually take place at my studio in Clarksville and/or at some of my favorite outdoor spots in the surrounding area. I'm also available to come on-site to your home or business if you'd prefer. Don't worry if you're drawing a blank - I've got a bunch of spots in mind that'll make the perfect backdrop for your photoshoot!

During our photo shoot if you'd like to incorporate anything that's sentimental to you, let me know during our consultation so we can work it into the mix.

HOW and when WILL I RECEIVE THE PHOTOS? what if i need them asap?

Your photos are delivered via a personal online gallery from which you can view, share, and download images. You can expect to receive your photos within three weeks of your session date. If you need your photos ASAP, I offer expedited processing for a $130 rush fee. This option guarantees that you'll have your Reveal & Ordering session and see all of your beautifully retouched images within three days of your photo shoot. 

Do you offer prints?

Absolutely! Professional quality prints and canvases can be ordered simply at your Reveal & Ordering session which is when we get together to select which images you'd like from your session. I highly recommend ordering your photos this way as I process them through a professional print lab and the quality is guaranteed to be much higher than what you would receive from places like Walgreen's or Walmart. 

ARE DIGITAL FILES INCLUDED? 

Yes, the corresponding digital file is included with each photograph that you purchase. Your images will be electronically delivered to you shortly after your Reveal & Order session. 

What kind of sessions do you offer & HOW MUCH DO they cost? how many photos will i receive?

Can We bring our dog?

You totally can! Dogs make for such a fun addition to your photos, but I do ask that you bring someone to watch over your pet while he's off-camera. Make sure to give me a heads up too so I can pack some tasty treats ;)

WILL I BE ABLE TO POST THE PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Yes, you can post your images online and on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, as long as credit is given to me and/or this website, www.dphillipsphotography.com, on each photo that you post. This is because I retain legal copyright of the images that I produce. A huge part of my clientele is built up through word of mouth advertising, so I hope you can understand why giving proper credit to me as your photographer is so important for my business.
